Many people were unfortunate to meet Angel Haines. MB is one of them. Mary Beth is a wonderful young lady that it has been my shear pleasure to met her in person and spent time with her family. Her and her family are some of the nicest people I have ever met and we have leaned on one another through this and you will hear more about MB’s relationship with Angel in her own words.
Okay let’s skip to the point of this post…
MB and Angel had plans to spend the weekend of Aug 28th and the 29th.
After things blew up, MB and I would keep in touch. We would compare notes and share stories.
After everyone bought tickets to the other festival, Angel would message Mary Beth to cancel their plans. Angel told her, Tommy, Grandson’s tour manager came up to her at Lollapalooza and asked her if she would like to work for them at an upcoming festival. She told Mary Beth she couldn’t turn down such an opportunity since she was going to school to be in the music industry. Guess what festival…the one I offered to drive them to.
Mary Beth was hurt but said she understood, after all she was offered a paying gig.
Take a guess what really happened…
We (my daughter and I) met Angel in person the night of Grandson’s late night show in Chicago and actually got a chance to chat the following day after his set on the main stage of Lollapalooza. The five of us talked about how great his set was and they were starting to plan to meet up at the Firefly festival in the fall. I told them Firefly was a big festival and might be hard to make barricade, it was expensive and hotels were hard to come by. I offered them a place to stay and told them I could take them to a smaller festival that was closer to me and that we could absolutely make barricade for. Everyone bought tickets, the plan was coming together.
Everyone has tickets and now it is time to cancel plans with Mary Beth
She tells MB that Tommy came up to her. That is an absolute lie. Angel stayed with us the entire time, she never left our side. None of spoke to Tommy that day, none of saw Tommy walking around off stage, NONE of us saw Angel have a conversation with him to work the very festival that she just bought tickets to go to with us.
When we attended this festival, she never spoke to Tommy in person. She never did any work for the tour. She never left our side. When she claimed to have messaged David from the band to come do birthday shots with us she claimed that had already left the venue.
Can I say the message was fake? Of course not, I did not care enough at the time to check or even ask to see the message. But later messages she said were from David she actually admitted to have made up. So if that many are lies…what’s a person to think
