I was receiving SMS messages from Laura telling me he was violated the retraining order. I believed she was in immediate danger. I arrived home, raced upstairs to gather my things and told my husband I had to go get her. I called her friend Mary Beth and had started making a plan for Angel. She would come to stay with me until she was able to calm down and relax enough to make her next move to Mary Beth’s house.

I knew there was more space for her there, she would have her own bedroom, in a very lovely home. She would have space to be alone and there was room for her animals. Mary Beth spoke to her actual boss and arranged for her to become an employee. Angel does not drive but she would work the same shifts as Mary Beth so transportation would not be an issue.

So I lined up a safe place to live, space for her animals, and a job…who could want for anything more in this situation…
